The radio station will execute on-ground events and promotion on social media platform to provide exposure to the upcoming bands and musicians.
Red FM, the Sun TV-owned radio station, is all set to launch a new musical property called Red Bandstand. The initiative aims at providing a platform for upcoming independent musicians to showcase their talent through on-ground performances across major cities in the country. The property's first performance by the band 'Anantara' was at Shankar Market in New Delhi on September 6.
The station will help independent musicians showcase their talent on its digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and give them wider reach and exposure. Red Bandstand will also offer budding music bands across the country the chance to perform live at major hangouts, landmarks, marketplaces and colleges.
Commenting on the launch, Nisha Narayanan, COO, Red FM says, "Red FM has already proved to be an entertainment leader by hosting numerous musical concerts through Red Live. With Red Bandstand, we promise to provide a platform to nurture the upcoming musicians and singers and help them showcase their talent to a wider audience".
93.5 Red FM had earlier launched new extensions - Red Mobile, Red Activ, Red Live and Red Digital - which are all independent IPRs with the same brand philosophy and attitude.
