ITV Network has strengthened its leadership with the appointment of Savvy Dilip as group chief marketing officer.
In her last stint, Dilip was co-founder and COO of Vigovea Media, a consumer-focused digital media company. Prior to that, she was VP, marketing, TV18 Group. She had launched Vigovea Media with her husband Dilip Venkatraman, former CEO, CNN-IBN and IBN7, Network18, last year.
At ITV Network, Dilip will be responsible for the group's marketing activities, including marketing strategy, creating flagship events, brand building and digital marketing for the network.
She will report to RK Arora, group CEO, ITV Network.
Kartikeya Sharma, managing director, ITV Network, feels Dilip's addition to the network's leadership team brings a unique blend of global experience and expertise to the group.

Savvy comes with eight years of experience in the media space, inlcuding brand management and development, product development and management, strategic alliances, content development, events and experiential marketing, sales enablement and PR across various media.
At TV18, she was responsible for the marketing operations of CNN-IBN and IBN7, the flagship national general news channels of Network18.
She holds an executive management degree from IIM Bangalore and has completed the Advanced Management Program from the Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
For the record, ITV Network owns NewsX, India News and five regional news channels in the Hindi heartland. The network also runs Good Morning India Media which has in its portfolio 'Aaj Samaj', a fast-growing daily in North India and 'The Sunday Guardian', a Sunday newspaper.
