The channel airs a new show everyday from Monday to Friday at the 9 pm slot.
NDTV Prime has spiced up its entertainment band, Entertainment@9, with the announcement of the launch of five new shows. The channel will air a new show everyday, from Monday to Friday, at 9 pm time-slot.
The first show in the line-up is 'The Boss Dialogues', produced by Qyuki Digital Media. Airing every Monday, viewers will be privy to intimate conversations with some of the "most celebrated" directors, writers and entertainers of the silver screen.
Hosted by Indu Mirani, 'The Boss Dialogues', will include guests like Karan Johar, Sanjay Gupta, Ayan Mukherji, Farhan Akhtar, Imtiaaz Ali and Salim Khan. According to the channel, it will offer an "intelligent" and "meaningful", yet entertaining dialogue with the 'bosses' of Bollywood.
Every Tuesday, former RJ Mihir Joshi will raise a toast to good music and dig deeper into the private lives of some of the most renowned names of the Indian music industry through the show 'The MJ Show'.
The channel believes that mainstream media has ignored documentary films. Therefore, every Wednesday NDTV Prime will air 'Prime Documentaries' that have, in some way, managed to document and capture "changing India".
The next show in the programming line-up is 'Prime Talkies' from Pocket Films. The show will air every Thursday. "Everyone has a rendezvous with interesting stories, everyday. Funny and sad stories, ones about love and passion, stories that inspire and stir your emotions. This hour of pure storytelling will showcase different styles of cinema with a generous dose of entertainment," the channel said in a press note.
Friday will be all about the latest Bollywood movies and its scorecard at the box-office. Film critic Mayank Shekhar and filmmaker Fahad Samar will host the weekly 'Friday Double Bill', to help viewers pick a film to watch for the upcoming weekend. Along with that, "The Making" will show the behind-the-scenes action from movies.
The new entertainment line-up, besides being on TV, is also going to be available across all NDTV Prime digital properties including the NDTV App of which NDTV Prime is a part of. There will also be separate pages for the new entertainment shows on ndtvprime.com and the content will also be made available across social media platforms, its Twitter handle @ndtvprime as well as NDTV Prime Facebook page.
