Sunil Lulla, president, corporate development, Bennett, Coleman and Co (BCCL), has ended his journey with The Times Group. Lulla had spent more than nine years in various leadership roles at the company.

In his recent role, he was responsible for developing strategy and growth for its music, events, digital and internet businesses. Lulla, who was earlier designated as the managing director and chief executive officer, Times Television Network (TTN), was promoted to this post in February this year. At TTN, he was replaced by Disney UTV India's old hand, MK Anand.

The announcement of his exit comes close on the heels of two other executives from Times - Ajay Trigunayat (TTN English Entertainment Channels CEO) and Avinash Kaul (Times Now, ET Now and Zoom CEO). Kaul has joined IBN18 Network as CEO. Both, Trigunayat and Lulla have remained tightlipped about their next venture.

Lulla has more than 26 years of experience in marketing and general management. Prior to joining Times, he had also worked with Sony Entertainment Television (SET) India as executive vice-president. Some of the other organisations he has worked with include Valuebridge, a consultancy business set up by venture capital firm AtIndia and advertising agency JWT (then HTA), JWT Taiwan, United Distillers and Vintners, MTV India, Indya.com, and Sony Entertainment Television.
