Chatterji has joined Indigo Live as vice president, activations. He has nearly two decades of experience.
Radio Indigo has appointed Kaustuv Chatterji as vice president, activations. He will be active with the events division of the company called Indigo Live. Erstwhile digital head, marketing of Dainik Bhaskar, Chatterji has an experience of nearly 20 years and has worked with brands such as The New Indian Express, Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar.
The mandate at Indigo Live will be to make the international events a success and make them sponsor-friendly. Speaking at the announcement, Chatterji said, "Our strategy is to use the synergy to our advantage and offer the youth products that will entice their imagination and experience. Indigo Live is committed to bring quality entertainment to India and there is no better time than this to do it."
Indigo Live attempts to engage with the youth, particularly the 18-34 age group. It has announced events that will encompass fashion and music over the next 12 months. It aims to host the second edition of Neon Nights that saw an incredible collision of fashion and music on one stage in Bangalore in 2013. Also on the anvil is the second edition of Cirkus Indigo. The first edition was hosted at Jayamahal Palace in Bangalore, and is now ranked among the best festivals Bangalore has seen. Among other events are Club Vibes, which is a touring clubbing property across the country
It will also be launching its first live music destination in Bangalore in a franchisee model. The club will be called Indigo Live and will make music pivotal in the positioning of the brand. Radio Indigo (91.9) operates in Bangalore and Goa and is an international music station.
