In a significant development, Sanjeev Kotnala, vice president and national head, Marcom, Dainik Bhaskar, has decided to move on.

He has worked at the publication for almost ten years.

Kotnala plans to go solo and launch an initiative called P1P2Solutions, a consultancy based on the premise that individuals/organisations face a host of problems, the solutions to which lie within the internal teams and management.

Kotnala's proposition is to help them arrive at the two most important problems, namely, 'Priority 1' and 'Priority 2', and help these people/companies reach the right solution internally or bring in the appropriate expert (financial analyst, HR, creative, digital, activation and research).

Kotnala explains, "As the name suggests, you should look at and aim to resolve your priority 1 and 2 (problems) and balance will automatically be sorted out."

He goes on to explain, "P1P2Solutions is a simple concept. It understands and appreciates the fact that the organisations and individuals are in the best position to know their problems. But when they do articulate them, they tend to state the 'macro' part of it. Emotionally and professionally they are so close to the subject, that 'micro-differentiating' it, breaking it down or even prioritising becomes a game of conflict. P1P2solutions helps them to identify the problem and prioritise."

About his stint at the Dainik Bhaskar Group, he adds, "The journey has been phenomenal. It's so dynamic that you gain a lot just being there with the flow."

According to Kotnala, it was the "entrepreneurial" traces at DB, coupled with advertising background, that "woke up the sleeping entrepreneur" in him.
