Patrika, the Hindi news daily from Rajasthan, has launched its 35th edition from Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh. The new edition was launched on April 2.
Together, the Hindi daily now has 10 editions in MP, including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ratlam, Satna, Khandwa, Gwalior, Ujjain and Hoshangabaad.
Chhindwara district is the largest district of the state in terms of area and occupies 3.85 per cent of the area of the state. Industrially, Chhindwara is famous for its spices, textile, coal mines and wood industries. It is also an important region for textile and apparel designing.
Patrika's first edition in Madhya Pradesh was launched in 2008 at Bhopal and Indore. The main focus of the new edition will on news and on making it a platform for people's voice.
Patrika has been there for nearly six decades now and is published from MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Delhi.
