More structural and leadership changes at the network are in the offing.
Times Television Network (TTN) is undergoing some structural changes with the exit of two senior level executives and the elevation and appointment of the others.
According to sources in the industry, Ajay Trigunayat, CEO - English channels and Harsh Sheth, associate business head - Romedy Now, have put in their papers at the broadcasting company.
Besides, Shantanu Gangane, head marketing - Movies Now has been given charge of Romedy Now. The company is also looking at appointing a national ad sales head for all its channels.
The idea is to centralise the functioning of the network.
Its new structure is such that all the division heads (such as content, marketing, ad-sales, distribution) of the company will report directly to the new CEO of the entertainment division of BCCL, M K Anand.
Trigunayat, who joined TTN in 2009, was heading Movies Now, before he was promoted to CEO, English Entertainment Channels in 2011. Before joining TNN, he was working as an entrepreneur in West Asia, prior to which he worked as business head of ZEEL's bouquet of English channels.
Sheth, on the other hand, joined TTN in 2011 as chief manager, strategy for Movies Now. At the time, he was also responsible for the channel's distribution strategy. In 2013, he was named associated business head for the network's then newly launched channel - Romedy Now.
Prior to joining TTN, he had worked with Star India, first as assistant manager - strategic planning and research (from 2007-2010) and then as manager, content engine and programming strategy, Channel V. He has also worked with TAM as assistant manager - key accounts in the past.
Lastly, Gangane joined TTN in 2010, from Viacom18 where he was senior manager - marketing for three years. Prior to that, he was working with Radio City - MBPL India as senior brand manager.
