Neeraj Sanan, chief marketing officer, Media Content and Communication Services (MCCS), has decided to move on from the company after a stint of almost six years. Sanan informs afaqs! that he will be serving his notice period till early April.
He was part of the seven-member management committee at MCCS. The broadcaster runs three news channels under the brand name ABP- ABP News, ABP Majha and ABP Bangla. Sanan was heading the marketing for the channels. He was also handling the global distribution of the ABP channels.
Sanan has over 18 years of experience in sales and marketing. He started his career in 1995 with Asian Paints in sales. He moved to ICI Paints as product manager in 1997. He has also worked with Joyco India as brand manager. He was also deputy general manager, Dabur, looking after the sales and marketing of hair oil, baby-care and skin-care products. Later, he moved to Network18 to head marketing for Web18 in 2007. He led marketing for 21 websites of the group including moneycontrol.in and ibnlive. He joined MCCS in 2008.
