Mani has shifted base from Chennai to Bengaluru.
92.7 Big FM has recently appointed Rajesh Mani, erstwhile head, marketing, TI Cycles of India, as the regional business head for South India.
He will report to Ashwin Padmanabhan, national head, 92.7 Big FM. Mani will lead the business in the region and will be based in Bengaluru.
Mani started his career with Coca-Cola as general manager in 1999. During the seven years in the company, he became general manager, sales at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, handling the South Karnataka unit of HCCB. Later, he joined Subhiksha Retail in 2006. After spending a year in the retail chain, he joined VIP Industries in 2008 as head, marketing.
At VIP, he was in charge of product development, marketing and advertising communication for the portfolio of brands consisting of VIP, Aristocrat, Alfa, Skybags, Footloose and Delsey.
He then joined TI Cycles of India in 2009, and handled brands such as Hercules, BSA and international brands such as Bianchi and Cannondale. He also handled communication development and product development on these brands.
