The group has decided to discontinue publishing the international magazines from henceforth.

The magazines publisher , Outlook Group, has decided to discontinue three of its title namely People, Geo and Marie Claire.
In an official statement, Indranil Roy, president, Outlook Group, says, "We are discontinuing the licensing arrangements with People, Geo and Marie Claire magazines with effect from the forthcoming issues of these magazines.Outlook, its promoters and management, however remain fully committed to all other Outlook Group magazines, which will continue to be published in the normal course."
All the three magazines were international titles brought to India in a license arrangement. While People, a celebrity title, was launched in 2008 under a licensing agreement with Time Inc and GEO, a science monthly magazine published by Gruner + Jahr, was also launched the same year. And the women's title, Marie Claire's India edition was launched in 2006.
For the record, Outlook group publishes news magazine Outlook (English and Hindi), finance magazine Outlook Money, a traveller title called Outlook Traveller, business magazine called Outlook Business and Career360.
