Amidst the unresolved situation of TAM ratings during the past three weeks, the viewership numbers were kept under wraps till advertisers and broadcasters could come to a consensus. The same data was released for the past three weeks, namely Weeks 27, 28 and 29 (reporting viewership from June, 23 to July, 6).

According to the viewership numbers for Week 29, Star Plus rules the roost with 243 GRPs, down from last week's (Week 28) 239 GRPs. The channel has managed to push four shows into the top 10 programmes list on the Hindi GECs list.

Colors was displaced from No. 2 in Week 24. The channel reclaimed its position at the second spot in Week 27, by registering 200 GRPs against Zee TV's 161 GRPs. In the current week (Week 29), Colors is at 207 GRPs, against Week 28's 187 points.

At No. 3, Zee TV has garnered 158 GRPs, a marginal increase from 156 GRPs that the channel achieved last week (Week 28). It could get only one of its shows amongst the top 10 rankers in the general entertainment genre.

Meanwhile, both GECs of MSM have registered significant changes in the past three weeks. Both Sony and SAB were standing at the same position with exactly the same GRPs in Week 28. However, in the current week, Sony moved up to gain 157 GRPs for the fourth position, while SAB dropped marginally to get 152 GRPs at No. 5.

Interestingly, in Week 28 (last week), even Zee TV was a mere three points away from SAB TV, the second-rung GEC of MSM.

It may be noted that while all the Hindi GECs have seen an increase in the current week, both the second-rung GECs, SAB TV and Life OK, have witnessed downfall.

Life OK is at No. 6 with 121 GRPs, losing a single GRP from last week.

Sahara One is at the trailing end with 17 GRPs.

While there has been a lot of shuffling in the top Hindi GECs and the top programmes on the Hindi GECs, Star Plus' flagship fiction property, Diya Aur Baati Hum, continues to be on the top of the top 10 ranked programmes in the Hindi GECs, with 4.5 TVRs in Week 29.

On the second position is SAB TV's flagship property, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltaah Chashmah, with 3.8 TVRs (3.7 TVRs in the previous week). At No. 3, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaataa Hai stands with 3.4 TVRs (3 TVRs in the last week).

While the fourth position is occupied by Zee TV's popular fiction property Qubool Hai with 3.2 TVRs (3.4 TVRs in last week), Star Plus' Pyar Ka Dard Hai follows with 3.1 TVRs in Week 29.

Next in line are two shows from Colors, Balika Vadhu at No. 6 with 3 TVRs and Sasural Simar Ka with 2.9 TVRs at No. 7. Interestingly, Sasural Simar Ka garnered 1.9 TVRs in Week 28.

At No. 8, Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana has garnered 2.8 TVRs (2.7 TVRs last week). The ninth spot in Week 29 is shared by two non-fiction shows from Colors and a thriller fiction from Sony. Comedy Nights with Kapil (Colors), Jhalakk Dikhla Ja (Colors) and CID (Sony) have registered 2.7 TVRs each.

Sony's Indian Idol stands last in the list with 2.4 TVRs.
