Nemish Sanghvi of Percept joins Times Television Network

Sanghvi has been handling events and intellectual properties for close to 14 years.

Nemish Sanghvi, project head, Percept Sports and Entertainment and Percept Live, has been appointed at Times Television Network (TTN) as associate vice-president, branded content. This is a newly created division within TTN headed by Hemant Arora. Sanghvi will report to Arora.

Interestingly, Sanghvi has been working at the events and entertainment companies, handling various intellectual properties (events with original concepts) during his 14 year long career. It is now that he has moved to the client side. He informs that TTN (under the division branded content) is looking at creating more IPs. He will also handle the on ground business of the network.

In his current role, Sanghvi will be responsible to grow the existing business portfolio and look at sustained relationships with existing and prospective clients and brands, and offer them holistic branding solutions. He will be instrumental in designing effective strategies for various brands across the board and embed them tactfully in the broad spectrum of varied content of the Times Network consortium.

Sanghvi says, "After spending a long time in the events industry, now, I am moving to the other side of the table. I do look forward to work with the present team of Times Network to develop and execute a roadmap to achieve the next phase of growth for this company."

Sanghvi, a commerce graduate, started his career while he was in college in 1998 with party cruisers. In 2000, he started his full fledged career in events when he joined Wiz Craft International as manager. Later, he joined Percept and has been handling one of its flagship properties, Sunburn, since 2004. At Wiz Craft, he has collectively handled various prominent brands like Reuters, BNP, Citi Bank, and HDFC, amongst others.

Sanghvi had been instrumental in handling Percept's property Sunburn in Goa since its inception and its various editions globally. He had implemented many new features in Sunburn during its run till now. He has also executed events and activations for Goa Super Sixes for all the four editions. He played a pivotal role in producing the Nokia New Year Eve in December, 2006, which was simulcast in five countries successfully.

Sanghvi is a sport fanatic and plays cricket, football and tennis regularly. To unwind, he likes to spend time with his friends and family and indulges in travelling, reading and swimming.
