Sony lost 14 GRPs in the current week ended May, 18, as per the TAM data provided by subscribers.
Star Plus continues to rule the general entertainment channel (GEC) flock, having added a marginal two points to gather 234 GRPs during the week ended May 18 (TAM data, C&S 4+ HSM). The channel has pushed seven of its shows to the top 10 rankers of the week.
At No. 2, Zee TV gained 10 GRPs (from 174 GRPs in Week 19 to 184 GRPs in Week 20), with two shows in the most watched list. Viacom18's Colors regained its third position, adding nine points to score 174 GRPs. Four of the channel's shows are in the top shows' list for the week.
Taking the fourth spot, MSM's Sony's numbers decreased from 166 points in the previous week to 152 in Week 20. Its show CID made it to the most watched shows list. Sony's sibling channel SAB has held the fort at the fifth position, witnessing a gain of one point to clock 132 GRPs in Week 20.
At No. 6, Life OK managed to clock 122 GRPs in Week 20, down from last week's 123 points. Sahara One, meanwhile, continues to be at No. 7 with 13 points.
Among the top 10 programmes on Hindi GECs, SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stands at the No. 2 position.
Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum continues to be on the top with 4.0 TVRs (in the current week). The second position is shared by the two Star Plus shows, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, with 3.1 TVRs each, along with SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Zee TV's Qubool Hai and Colors' Balika Vadhu took the third spot with 3 TVRs each, followed by Star Plus' India's Dancing Superstar and Colors' Uttaran, which shared the fourth spot with 2.8 TVRs each.
Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke stood at No. 5 with 2.7 TVRs in Week 20.
Colors' Madhubala and Sasural Simar Ka shared the sixth spot with 2.6 TVRs each. Sony's CID was the seventh most watched show in the week ended May, 18. Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana (2.4 TVRs), Masterchef (2.2 TVRs) and Veera (2.1 TVRs) held the last three spots.
