Continuing to stick to the topmost position in the roost, Star Plus has gained 17 points in Week 9 to clock 265 GRPs. The channel's big bet, Saraswatichandra (Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions) opened at a decent 2.5 TVRs, though it could not make it to the ten most watched shows on Hindi general entertainment channels.

At No. 2 is Zee TV, up from its third position last week. Despite the loss in GRPs (by five points), Zee TV upped its ranking with 226 points in the current week. Colors, too, lost 15 GRPs to garner 220 points, down from last week's 235 points.

Sony remained at No. 4 with a loss of 18 GRPs; it gathered 170 points in Week 9 of 2013. This week, too, none of the shows from Sony has been able to make it to the top ten programmes' list.

At No. 5, SAB TV has regained its position from Life OK after a gap of a few weeks. The channel has garnered 138 GRPs, same as last week. However, Life OK has dropped its ratings from 144 points in the previous week to 132 points in the current week.

Sahara One is stable at No. 7 with 24 GRPs.

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus managed to get a peak TVR of 7.1 in Week 9. Following this stood Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) and India's Best Dramebaaz (Zee TV), sharing the second spot with 4.7 TVRs.

Balika Vadhu (Colors) stood at No. 3 with 4.5 TVRs, followed by Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Zee TV) with 4.4 TVRs. SAB TV's flagship show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltaah Chashmah, acquired 4.2 TVRs, grabbing the fifth position in the list of most watched shows in Week 9.

At No. 6, Colors' big ticket property, Madhubala grabbed 4 TVRs, followed by Pyar Ka Dard Hai (Star Plus) with 3.7 TVRs.

The last position is shared by Qubool Hai (Zee TV), Sasural Simar Ka (Colors), Saathiya Saath Nibhana and Nach Baliye from Star Plus, all with 3.6 TVRs each.
