While both Star Plus and Zee TV have lost GRPs in Week 7, Sony and Colors have marginally grown the numbers, all remaining at their respective positions, as per the data (C&S, 4+, HSM) provided by one of the TAM subscribers.
The second rung general entertainment channel (GEC) from STAR India's stable, Life OK has moved ahead of the second rung GEC of Multi Screen Media, SAB TV, by scoring 142 GRPs (up from last week's 124 points) in Week 7. Life OK now stands at No. 5, while SAB TV has slipped to No. 6 with 136 points (up from last week's 132 GRPs), despite the fact that its flagship property Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltaah Chashmah continues to be among the Top 5 shows of the week.
Meanwhile, this week too, Star Plus continues to be on the top, losing five points over the week. The channel has garnered 259 GRPs in the current week, against 264 GRPs of last week (Week 6).
Zee TV remained at No. 2 by clocking 226 GRPs (down from last week's 243 GRPs). Though Viacom18's Colors has dropped its ratings marginally, garnering 205 GRPs in Week 7 of 2013, the channel has maintained its position at No. 3.
Continuing at the No. 4 position in the top GECs list, Sony has garnered 164 GRPs, up from last week's 160 GRPs. At No. 7, Sahara One has registered 26 GRPs, up from 24 GRPs that it had garnered last week.
Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 5.0, followed by another Star Plus property, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain at No. 2 with 4.9 TVRs.
At No. 3, Colors' Balika Vadhu acquired 4.7 TVRs. Next in the list is Zee TV's Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (4.6 TVRs). At No. 5, Colors' Sasural Simar Ka and SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah share the spot with 4.2 TVRs.
Star's Pyaar Ka Dard Hai stands at No. 6 with 4.1 TVRs. The seventh position is shared by Zee TV's Qubool Hai and Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana, which have clocked TVRs of 3.7 each.
Lastly, Mahadev (Life OK) garnered 3.6 TVRs, being the 10th most watched programme in Week 7 of 2013.
