The agency has announced new roles for Tarun Nigam, Sulina Menon and Sriram Sharma.
Starcom MediaVest Group has announced a few top structural changes in a bid to strengthen its top management team for further growth.
As part of the change, Tarun Nigam, executive director, Starcom North, will be moved to a new role with VivaKi Exchange by January, 2013. While the role remained undefined at the time of filing this report, it is noted that Nigam will report to Mona Jain, CEO, VivaKi Exchange.
In his six-year stint with the organisation, Nigam led the Delhi team at SMG before being made the national director, business impact for SMG India.
Meanwhile, Sulina Menon, executive director and head of team Samsung and Dabur, will take charge of Nigam's client portfolio in Delhi, and also oversee the Dabur account.
Sriram Sharma, VP, Starcom South, will move to Delhi to head team Samsung. Sharma has played a key role in developing Starcom Bengaluru and Chennai. There will be a three-month overlap between Menon and Sharma on Samsung before they take independent charge of their roles in January, 2013. In their new roles, both Menon and Sharma will report to Malli CR, CEO, SMG India.
Malli says in an official communiqué, "After a good run in the past two years, we are gearing up for an even more action-packed future. Tarun, Sulina and Sriram have done exceedingly well in their respective assignments and have been great ambassadors of SMG. Their new roles with enlarged responsibilities are a testament to their performance. We wish them the very best in their new assignments."
