Fever 104 FM has launched a contest, 'Fever iDream', which provides a platform to common people to fulfil their business aspirations. The initiative gives a chance to people to win Rs 25 lakh as seed capital to pursue their own venture. Reliance Commercial Finance will sponsor the funding and will give an opportunity to people to start their own businesses.
The idea behind the initiative is innovation, which the brand always connects itself with. The radio station airs innovative programme formats such as radio drama, and through this initiative, will give an opportunity to its listeners to come up with innovative ideas to fulfil their dreams.
The concept aims to help budding entrepreneurs who have the capability but lack funds.
To participate in the contest, listeners need to log onto www.fever.fm/idream, fill in basic details and submit their business idea. The jury members will evaluate the submitted ideas and shortlist 10 best ideas from each of the four cities. From these 40 contestants, four finalists will be further selected for awards of Rs 2 lakh each. The final round will be broadcasted on BloombergTV, where the best deserving candidate will earn Rs 25 lakh.
The panel of judges include Vivek Khanna, business head, Mint; K V Srinivasan, chief executive officer, Reliance Commercial Finance; and Harshad Jain, business head, Fever 104 FM.
The contest is open in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata and the last date for submission of entries is September16.
