Starcom MediaVest has bagged the media duties for Entertainment Network India-promoted radio station, 98.3 FM Radio Mirchi. The account will be handled by Starcom's Mumbai office.
In an official communiqué, G G Jayanta, national head, marketing, Radio Mirchi, says, "We are pleased to appoint Starcom since we needed a partner which is future focused and can help us navigate the new media landscape. Its in-house research and tools are very impressive and its media product and philosophy are pretty solid."
The incumbent on the account was Madison.
"Given the developments in the radio sector, we look forward to exciting times. We have planned some specific research and insights projects using our proprietary tools and optimisers," says Malli CR, CEO, Starcom MediaVest Group.
The win is the latest in a series of businesses that the agency has bagged recently, including those of Aircel, Dabur, Axis Bank, Zee Learning, Supermax and Sterling Holidays. The agency also recently launched its proprietary Web+TV optimiser.
