Allied Media, the media planning, buying and evaluation arm of Percept, has taken on board Santanu Bhattacharjee as business head for the Panasonic account. Bhattacharjee will report to Surbhi Murthy, associate vice-president, Allied Media. He will be based in Delhi.
In his new role, he will manage the Panasonic account for all the categories of the brand at a national level. He will also advise the client on media penetration in different geographical markets.
Earlier, Bhattacharjee was working with Mindshare as director, Exchange.

After completing MBA in marketing and international business from Asia Pacific Institute of Management in 2003, Bhattacharjee started his career with Panacea Biotec. Later, he joined IMG as research executive. After working there for about two years, he moved to Percept as group head, planning, in 2007.
In 2010, he joined Mindshare as director, Exchange.
