Spark Punjabi, the general entertainment channel that targets the PCHP (Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh) market, has announced the launch of three new shows. Pushing up the content envelope on the channel, Spark Da Star and Big Wheels are in-house productions of Reliance Network, while Babies Unlimited has been acquired from the Pakistani network, Geo TV.

Among these, Spark Da Star is a home production of the channel, while Big Wheels is being produced by Bloomberg India and is powered by Autocar India. Spark Da Stars and Babies Unlimited will replace Bakra Qiston Pe, while Big Wheels replaces Naadaaniyaan and Bulbulay.

The channel states that Punjab has always been a big market for automobiles, be it the passenger or luxury cars, and there is a great passion for automobiles amongst consumers there. Big Wheels is a half-hour show about automotive shenanigans and will be aired at 8 pm every Sunday.

Spark Da Star will see a Punjabi celebrity sharing his/her favourite music countdown list each week. The show will be aired at 8 pm every Saturday. Babies Unlimited, on the other hand, is a Pakistani stage comedy play and will be aired at 9 pm on Sundays.

The shows will be marketed on all the in-house platforms of the network, including Big FM and other television channels. The properties will also be promoted on digital and print media.
