The radio station has appointed Pankaj Vassal as VP and regional business head, West and East, and Neeti Virmani as station head, Mumbai.
Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) has announced the appointments of two new business heads at Big FM. Pankaj Vassal has been appointed as vice-president (regional business head) West and East and will report to Rabe T Iyer, business head, Big FM. He will be responsible for business growth and overall profit and loss for the business vertical.
Neeti Virmani has been appointed station head, Mumbai and will be responsible for meeting revenue targets.
Commenting on the new appointments, Iyer says, "I am confident that Pankaj and Neeti's vast and in-depth understanding of the mass markets, coupled with their ability to deliver outstanding solutions to marketers' requirements will deliver optimally to the business."
Vassal, who has more than 15 years of experience, has earlier worked with organisations such as Amway, Motorola, Asian Paints and Essel Packaging, where he was instrumental in growing business and leading improvements in areas such as gross margins and profitability, while growing new markets. He has a Master's degree in management studies from Mumbai Educational Trust's Institute of Management. Speaking about his new role, Vassal says, "I have joined RBNL at a time when the organisation is transitioning into a media giant. I respect its vision and culture, and look forward to taking on new challenges."
Virmani has 14 years of experience across general management, marketing and sales at mass consumer focused organisations such as Aircel, Pepsi, Airtel, Aptech and STG. She holds a post graduate diploma in marketing and international business from NMIMS-HIM and will manage overall business and operations of the Mumbai station, and oversee the P&L by driving sales, programming and marketing functions.
