Bloomberg UTV hands over media duties to Aegis Media's Vizeum

The size of the account is about Rs 10 crore, as per market estimates. MPG India is the incumbent agency on the account.

Aegis Media's Vizeum India has been appointed as the media AoR (agency of record) for Bloomberg UTV. The size of the account is estimated at Rs 10 crore. The business will be handled by the agency's Mumbai Office.

Earlier, the account was being handled by MPG India.

There was no formal pitch process for the account. In an official communiqué, Sriram Kilambi, president, Bloomberg UTV, says, "We were on the lookout for a passionate, result-oriented partner. Vizeum came to us with strong references and matched our expectations."

The brief was to formulate a plan to match and help the aggressive growth strategy of the channel. The agency mentions that it will focus on increasing the market share and audience affinity for Bloomberg UTV. Soon, it plans to release a multi-media campaign for the channel.

S Yesudas, managing director, Indian subcontinent, Vizeum, says, "Bloomberg UTV is undergoing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking forward to communicate better with its audiences. We are aware of the brand's needs and plan to take it to the next level."

For the record, Vizeum operates in 55 countries with a philosophy of in-depth understanding of the co-existence of lives, brands and media in the actual world, through its process, motivation to media.
