The new edition will have a cover price of Rs 3 per copy and a six months' subscription for Rs 299, offering a discount of nearly 45 per cent.
The media house has started the leg work for the launch and its OOH (out of home) campaign has been implemented.
Lokmat Samachar's latest edition will cater to the Hindi readers who belong to Pune and also to those who have migrated from Hindi speaking states ranging from central government employees, businessmen, technocrats, housewives (from the Hindi speaking states) and students (studying in Pune but belonging to Hindi speaking states).
The newspaper is designed as a youthful daily, with the theme of 'Utsaah, Urja and Umang'.
For the record, Lokmat Media publishes three newspapers, 19 editions and 58 sub-editions in three languages -- Lokmat in Marathi, Lokmat Samachar in Hindi, and Lokmat Times in English -- across Maharashtra and Goa.
