Network18 has roped in Suranjana Ghosh as marketing head for its English business channel, CNBC-TV18.
As part of her new mandate, Ghosh will report to Anil Uniyal, CEO, CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz.
A marketing specialist, Ghosh is armed with more than 10 years of experience in brand management and communications development.
Earlier, Ghosh was marketing manager, South Asia for BBC World News and BBC.com and was responsible for development and implementation of channel, brand and dotcom marketing strategies for consumer and trade markets in India. Before that, she was working as marketing manager, global news division, London at BBC.
Before foraying into television, Ghosh was with Kellogg India for about two years. She worked as brand manager, adult and all family portfolios, and was responsible for marketing, profitability and promotional activities of the all family and adult brands.
An MBA in advertising and communication management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Ghosh began her career at L'Oréal Professionnel as business development officer and was later promoted as product manager, hair colour category. She worked with the company for four years.
