Deepak Lamba, business head, BloombergUTV has put in his papers at the organisation, ending his two year and four months stint with the 24-hour English business news channel.
Highly placed company sources confirm the development to afaqs! and add that the channel is on the lookout for external candidates to fill the post. Lamba is currently serving his notice period and is expected to stay with the channel till the end of April.
Sources also suggest that Lamba will move to a media conglomerate with a larger role.
Despite several attempts, Lamba remained unavailable for comments at the time of filing this report.
Prior to joining BloombergUTV, Lamba was at MTV Networks India. He spent four years with the company as director, Viacom Brand Solutions before joining the news channel in January, 2012. Earlier, Lamba was associate director, Viacom Brand Solutions at MTV Networks India.
