Nayyar quits Havas Media after five years to join BCCL. She will be based in Delhi.

Anita Nayyar has ended her five-year stint with Havas Media as chief executive officer, India and Southeast Asia. She is all set to join Bennett, Coleman and Company (BCCL) as director, customer strategy during the end of this month. She will be based in Delhi.
Commenting on her new position, Nayyar says, "Till now, I have worked with agencies while sitting on the other side of the table. Now, I look forward to use all those experiences to enhance my new responsibilities."
Nayyar, who has more than 28 years of experience, obtained a Masters degree in Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and started her career with Inter Publicity.
She has also worked with agencies such as Ogilvy and Initiative Media.
In 2002, Nayyar joined Mudra Communications as vice-president. She moved to Starcom as executive director in 2003.
In 2007, she joined Havas Media as CEO, India and Southeast Asia.
