After being in the company for about six years, Kilambi has decided to leave the organisation. However, his next destination remains unknown.
Sriram Kilambi, senior vice-president and national marketing head, Radio Mirchi has decided to quit the organisation. He is currently serving his notice period. G G Jayanta, regional marketing head, south, Radio Mirchi will take charge of Kilambi's responsibilities for the time being.
Kilambi has spent about six years in the organisation. He says that he has no immediate plans to join anywhere else, although he has about three options in hand.
Kilambi says, "I had an exceptional stint at Radio Mirchi. The channel was at No. 4 in the top ratings and it gradually climbed to No. 1. I am in the process of handing over my responsibilities to Jayanta. There are a couple of plans which cannot be completed within the limited time period that I have; those are to be handed over, too."
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, Kilambi joined Coca-Cola as brand and customer manager in 1999. About seven years later, he moved to Entertainment Network India (ENIL) as vice-president and cluster head, East. Later, in 2008, he was promoted as senior vice-president and cluster head, Mumbai and MPCG.
Since May 2011, however, he was working as senior vice-president and national marketing head for the station.
