According to sources close to the development, Kasturi & Sons, the publishers of the Chennai-based English daily The Hindu, has roped in Arun Anant as the new CEO for the daily. Anant is expected to join in the first week of February.

Anant joins in from IncValue, a management consulting that advises promoters and private equity companies post investment, and which was co-founded by him. The move comes in following N Ram's decision to quit as the editor-in-chief and publisher of The Hindu.
