The FM station is launching two new programmes , Aradhana and Kajal@9, that it bets will appeal to local listeners.
Known for offering local-centric unique content, 94.3 MY FM has announced two new interactive programmes -- Aradhana and Kajal@9 in Ahmedabad -- to find further favour with the local audience. Both shows, while differing in content, will focus upon the listener and his/her well-being.
The content of Aradhana is based on preacher Morari Bapu's sermons and lectures. Bapu, considered to be a crowd-puller, with a following that includes even Narendra Modi, the chief minister of the state, has more than 700 'kathaas' in his kitty, with most of his work inspired from epics such as Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas, Rama, and Gopigeet, which are popular songs of Vrindavan's gopis that praise Krishna.
Aradhana will be aired in the spiritual time band of 6-7 am, every morning. The show, besides Ahmedabad, will also be aired in the same time band across other MY FM stations.
Kajal @ 9, on the other hand, will feature content aimed at resolving issues and concerns of the listener, ranging from relationships to career. Hosted by acclaimed Gujarati litterateur, Kajal Oza Vaidya, the show will be aired in the 9 pm (9-12) slot, Monday to Friday. The show aims to bring back into focus the self which is caught in a busy life.
On the new shows, Harrish M Bhatia, chief executive officer, 94.3 MY FM, says, "We are committed to provide quality and innovative content to our listeners. We feel great that highly prominent and renowned personalities are extending their support to fulfil our commitment. While Bapu will enlighten the listeners, Kajal will play the part of the healer. The shows will prove to be stress busters and interactive in terms of knowledge and entertainment."
