Radio City leads in Mumbai; it also has the highest market share in Bengaluru.
The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 30-Week 33 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.
Mumbai
Radio City takes the lead position in the city in Week 30-Week 33, with a market share of 16.7 per cent. The radio station registered a loss of 0.1 percentage points compared to the average market share of Week 26-Week 29.
Radio Mirchi is at No. 2 position with a market share of 16.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage points compared to its earlier record.
AIR FM2 Gold is at No. 3, and has an average market share of 14.2 per cent for the last four weeks. The station's average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 15.5 per cent.
Big FM is still at the fourth position in Mumbai, with a market share of 11.7 per cent; its average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 10.7 per cent.
Red FM and Fever FM are jointly at No. 5, and have market shares of 10.8 per cent each. While Red FM registered a gain of 0.5 percentage points, Fever FM registered a gain of 0.8 percentage points compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Radio One slips to No. 6 in the city with a market share of 5.1 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage points.
Vividh Bharati is placed seventh, with a market share of 4.9 per cent, having gained 0.1 percentage points in the past four weeks.
Oye! FM and AIR FM1 Rainbow follow with market shares of 4 per cent each. While the former lost 0.2 percentage points, the latter lost 0.9 percentage points compared to the average market share of Week 26-Week 29.
Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 30-Week 33, Akashavani has a market share of 1.6 per cent.
Delhi
Fever FM still manages to hold on to the No. 1 position in Delhi, registering a market share of 19 per cent, losing 0.3 percentage points compared to the station's average market share for Week 26-Week 29.
AIR FM2 Gold retains the second position in the city, with a market share of 18.9 per cent. Its average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 18.4 per cent.
Radio Mirchi occupies the third position, with an average market share of 17.6 per cent in Week 30-Week 33. The radio station recorded a loss of 0.2 percentage points as compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Red FM follows with an average market share of 12.3 per cent, recording a gain of 1.6 percentage points.
Radio City is at No. 5, registering an average market share of 11.3 per cent for the past four weeks, with a loss of 0.5 percentage points. Big FM comes next with an average market share of 5.5 per cent. The radio station recorded a loss of 0.6 percentage points compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 5.1 per cent.
Next in line is Oye! FM with an average market share of 3.8 per cent, AIR FM1 Rainbow with an average market share of 2.7 per cent, and HIT FM, with an average market share of 1.8 per cent.
Bengaluru
Radio City takes the leading position in Bengaluru, with an average market share of 23.5 per cent, registering a gain of 2.6 percentage points. Its average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 20.9 per cent.
Radio Mirchi is at No. 2 with an average market share of 22.5 per cent, registering a gain of 2.2 percentage points.
Big FM settles in the third position and has an average market share of 18.3 per cent, registering a gain of 0.8 percentage points compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Red FM is still at the fourth position with a market share of 12.5 per cent, which is 0.6 percentage points more than that of the previous four weeks.
AIR FM1 Rainbow, at No. 5, garnered an average market share of 6.5 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Vividh Bharati, at No. 6 with an average market share of 5.6 per cent, has registered a loss of 0.8 percentage points as compared to the average of the earlier four weeks. Radio One follows with a market share of 4.9 per cent.
Among the other radio stations in the city, Fever FM, Radio Indigo and Akashavani have market shares of 4.6 per cent, 1.3 per cent and 0.2 per cent, respectively.
Kolkata
Radio Mirchi maintains its lead in Kolkata with a market share of 23.3 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points as compared to the previous week. Its average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 23.1 per cent.
Big FM and Friends FM are placed second and third, respectively. Big FM has an average market share of 17.6 per cent, while Friends FM has an average market share of 13 per cent.
Aamar FM holds the fourth position with an average market share of 12 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 percentage points as compared to Week 26-Week 29.
Fever FM occupies the fifth place in the city, with an average market share of 9.5 per cent. Its average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 10.5 per cent.
Red FM and Radio One are next in line, with average market shares of 9.2 per cent and 3.8 per cent, respectively. While the former radio station's average market share for Week 26-Week 29 was 8.7 per cent, the latter's market share was 3.3 per cent.
Oye! FM follows with a market share of 3.6 per cent.
Among the other stations in Kolkata in Week 30-Week 33, AIR FM2 Gold has a market share of 2.8 per cent, followed by AIR FM1 Rainbow (2.3 per cent).
