For the record, NDTV network, in March, 2011, decided to split with Aidem Ventures, the outsourced ad sales partner for the network.

NDTV had outsourced its ad sales to Aidem Ventures for one year, after Raj Nayak quit as CEO of NDTV Media, to float his own company. NDTV had brought back Nayak and his team's 26 per cent stake in NDTV Media, a company that was handling the ad sales of the broadcasting company.

Post the split, STAR India and NDTV joined hands wherein STAR India was to handle the ad sales for the three NDTV news channels -- NDTV 24x7, NDTV India and NDTV Profit.
