Fever FM slides down to the fourth spot after jointly enjoying the first position in Bengaluru last week.
The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 9 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.
Mumbai
Radio Mirchi is back to the No. 1 position in the city, dethroning Radio City with a market share of 16.3 per cent, registering a gain of 1.6 percentage points over the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks stands at 15.1 per cent.
Red FM moves up to the second position with a market share of 13.7 per cent, registering a gain of 1.3 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 12.6 per cent.
Radio City settles at No. 3 and has a market share of 13.3 per cent, registering massive loss of 1.8 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 13.8 per cent.
Big FM is at the fourth position in Mumbai with a market share of 13.1 per cent, and its last four weeks' average market share is 13.3 per cent.
Air FM2-Gold occupies the fifth spot with a market share of 12.6 per cent. The station's previous week's share was 11.6 per cent.
Fever FM is No. 6 in the city with a market share of 7.5 per cent, registering a loss of 0.7 percentage points.
Radio One is placed seventh with a market share of 6.3 per cent, having gained 0.8 percentage points in the past week. Vividh Bharati has a market share of 5 per cent, without registering any loss or gain this week.
Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 9 is AIR FM1-Rainbow with a market share of 4.9 per cent, followed by Oye! FM, with 4.3 per cent market share.
Delhi
Fever FM has finally dethroned Radio Mirchi in Delhi, registering a market share of 23.8 per cent, with a gain of 2.9 percentage points compared to Week 8. The radio station's average market share for the last four weeks is 20.1 per cent.
Radio Mirchi and AIR FM2-Gold occupy the second and third spots, with market shares of 19.7 per cent and 18 per cent, respectively. While Radio Mirchi has lost 1.7 percentage points, AIR FM2-Gold gained 1 percentage point compared to the previous week's ratings. The average market shares for the stations in the last four weeks are 22.9 per cent and 15.5 per cent, respectively.
Radio City has secured the fourth position with a market share of 9.3 per cent, without registering any loss or gain this week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 9.4 per cent. The radio station pushes Red FM, which registered a market share of 8.9 per cent, to the fifth position.
Big FM, at No. 6, has registered a market share of 6.7 per cent. The station's previous week's share was 7.2 per cent.
In Week 9, Radio One and Oye! FM have garnered market shares of 4.9 per cent and 3 per cent respectively, occupying the seventh and eighth positions. The average market shares of the stations for the last four weeks are 5.6 per cent and 3.1 per cent, respectively.
Next in line are AIR FM1-Rainbow and HIT 95 FM with market shares of 2 per cent and 1.8 per cent, respectively.
Bengaluru
Big FM still holds the No. 1 position in Bengaluru with a market share of 17.3 per cent, registering a gain of 0.6 percentage points.
Radio Mirchi is at No. 2 with a market share of 16.6 per cent, without registering any loss or gain compared to the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks stands at 17.7 per cent.
Radio City is at No. 3 and has a market share of 14.4 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 13.8 per cent.
Fever FM slips down to the fourth position with a market share of 12.3 per cent, which is 4.4 percentage points less than that of last week.
Red FM is at No. 5 with a market share of 11.8 per cent, which is 1.6 percentage points more compared to last week's rating.
At No. 6, AIR FM1-Rainbow has a market share of 9.6 per cent, registering a gain of 2.3 percentage points.
Radio One follows with a market share of 7.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points as compared to Week 8.
AIR FM1-Vividh Bharati follows with a market share of 6.7 per cent, registering a loss of 0.3 percentage points.
Among the other stations in Bengaluru in Week 9 are Radio Indigo, which has a market share of 2.7 per cent, followed by Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent).
Kolkata
Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 21.9 per cent, showing a gain of 1.8 percentage points. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 20.8 per cent.
Big FM and Friends FM are placed second and third, respectively. Big FM has a market share of 16.5 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous week. Friends FM has a market share of 13.6 per cent, registering a gain of 1 percentage point. The radio stations' average market shares for the last four weeks are 17.4 per cent and 12.2 per cent, respectively.
Aamar FM holds the fourth position with a market share of 13 per cent, registering a loss of 0.7 percentage points.
Fever FM occupies the fifth place in the city with a market share of 8.8 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 9.8 per cent.
Red FM and Oye! FM are next in line, with market shares 7.7 per cent and 4.2 per cent, respectively. AIR FM2-Gold follows with a market share of 3.9 per cent.
In Week 9, among the other stations in Kolkata, Radio One also has a market share of 3.9 per cent, followed by AIR FM1-Rainbow (2.6 per cent), Power FM (1.7 per cent) and Akashavani (1.4 per cent).
