With this deal, travellers at Terminal 3 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport will be able to watch programmes of Turner such as CNN International, Cartoon Network and Pogo.
Turner International India has recently announced a partnership with Active Media, an OOH company. Travellers using the newly built Terminal 3 (T3) of the Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi will now be able to watch selected content from some of Turner's channels, like CNN International, the 24-hour news channel, as well as Cartoon Network and Pogo for kids.
Feature-based programmes such as CNN International' s Revealed, which showcases profiles of various thinkers, creative champions and inspirational leaders, Open Court and Living Golf for sports aficionados, and Eco Solutions, which highlights ways to sustain and preserve our planet will also be telecast.
Pogo's M.A.D. (Music, Art and Dance), an art and craft-based educational and do-it-yourself show and Cartoon Network's popular original series, Ben 10: Alien Force will also be shown.
Speaking about this new initiative, Anshuman Misra, managing director, Turner International, India, and senior vice-president and general manager, Turner Content Solutions, Turner Broadcasting System, Asia Pacific says, "At Turner, we are constantly on the lookout for new touch-points to keep viewers engaged with our dynamic content. We are, therefore, delighted to announce this new initiative that allows us to showcase our vibrant programming in an ambient environment."
He adds, "With increasingly fast-paced lifestyles, it is imperative that media companies go beyond traditional screens to reach target audiences. I am confident that travellers will enjoy the rich mix of content that Turner is offering at T3."
The content will be played in a daily programming loop on three of the 360-degree LED screens, strategically located at the food court of T3, which caters to both domestic and international travellers.
