ET Now, the English business news channel from the house of Times Television Network, has gone through a revamp, with a new logo and a few graphical changes.

Sunil Lulla, managing director and chief executive officer, Times Television Network, says, "We believe in continuous evolution. Going with the philosophy, we have simplified the logo and the new logo now occupies less space on the screen. With this, we have increased information on screen as well. Additionally, we have made certain graphical changes in the packaging to provide a sleek look to the channel."

The revamped look allows the business channel to utilise more screen space for news flashes, earnings information and stock calls. The channel added a ticker as well and has redesigned text flashes for utilisation of screen space.

ET Now has also increased the information for viewers as its provides detailed market related anecdotes and trade analysis by displaying stocks along with news flashes, expert opinions and brokerage recommendations.

Also, the channel has introduced a new band at the top of the screen to carry the breaking news, signified by the usage of the 'NOW' icon. It will also carry stock and index levels, show the countdown to market opening and other significant events, identify the shows and the guests who will be appearing shortly.

Lulla adds, "All these changes are a process of constant evolution and intend to help viewers make the most out of the stock market."

ET Now claims that its market share in the English business news genre has increased from 15 per cent to 26 per cent.
