STAR Jalsha's Yubaraj Bhattacharya to join Mahuaa TV as CEO

Bhattacharya will be in charge of all regional channels, including news as well as general entertainment channels of Mahuaa TV

After taking STAR Jalsha to the top position, Yubaraj Bhattacharya, creative director, STAR Jalsha is moving to PK Tiwari promoted Mahuaa TV as chief executive officer. Bhattacharya will be in charge of all channels which are on air, including Bhojpuri and Bangla news and general entertainment channels and will also be responsible for launching new channels in future.

According to reliable sources in the company, Bhattacharya will join Mahuaa TV in the first week of November.

Prior to launching STAR Jalsha, Bhattacharya was part of the team that launched STAR Ananda. He started his career as a media planner at Starcom and then moved into account management. Apart from this, Bhattacharya for a year was also the head of production house, Black Magic Motion Pictures.
