Pickle, the agency launched recently by Interpublic Group (IPG) in India, is strengthening its senior level management. It has recently hired Viju Menon and Kaajari Tiwari as creative director, copy, and creative group head, art, respectively. Both of them were working earlier with Rediffusion DY&R Mumbai.

Viju Menon

Menon, who was working at Rediffusion in the same capacity, has around 13 years of experience in the industry. He started his career with FCB Bangalore and then went on to work for agencies such as Contract Bangalore and Ogilvy Bangalore at various levels. During his stints at these agencies, he has worked on a multitude of brands such as The Aditya Birla Group, Wipro Technologies, Wipro Infotech, Himalaya Healthcare, NIIT, Louis Philippe, Toyota Motors, Kingfisher Airlines and IBM. He has also worked as an online content developer for Netwhizz and as a correspondent for The Brief for a while.

Menon says, “I know Rahul (Jauhari) since my Rediffusion days, and although he was heading another group, I liked his work. Later on, I met Sumeet (Chatterjee) as well and I decided to join them and work for Pickle.”

Kaajari Tiwari

Tiwari has around six years of experience and has joined Pickle after a four year stint at Rediffusion DY&R Mumbai, where she was a creative partner. She has also worked with agencies such as Leo Burnett Delhi, Triton Delhi and Rediffusion DY&R Delhi and handled various brands such as Airtel, Kaya Skin Clinic, Onida, Tata Motors, PVR Cinemas, Honda, Kinley, Coca-Cola and Samsung.

She says, “Pickle seems a very exciting and promising place plus I have worked with Rahul earlier, so it will be great to work with him again.”

They will join Abhijit Gune, creative director, art, and Subroto Mehta, creative director, copy, who have been with Pickle since its inception.
