For a biker, his/her bike is not just a machine for conveyance. It is a part of their personality, a reflection of their attitude, a statement of their style, and a synonym for themselves.

And if the bike is a cruiser, then nothing less than a companion – one who stays through thick and thin, complements the style and brings a whole new experience to the ride.

Suzuki Motorcycles has entered the 150cc cruiser motorcycle segment in India by launching one such cruiser, the Intruder, that is bound to make any touring biker fall in love not to mention the wanderlust youth. By the looks of it, Intruder is not just a typical cruiser. It is flamboyant yet sharp. It has a muscular built with a lot of body panels to give it a more sturdy look. Coupled to this is the premium 'Intruder' emblem adding a dash of distinction.

The headlamp resembles the legendary power cruiser M1800 adding more depth to the front while the taillights have horizontal lines of LEDs. The all-digital meter has a modern look with a clever 'Ready Go' animation when the ignition is turned on. The exhaust is a dual-outlet with sharp cuts and heavy metal styling. With a subtle rear, an aggressive front, and minute style cues, the Intruder is surely a head-turner.

Like the style, comfort has also not been a given a back seat. The footpegs are kept slightly forward to provide the rider with a more relaxed and a better riding position. The seat set up is split with the pillion seat moulded seamlessly with the back giving it a single-seat look. All this makes it stand-out among other cruisers as the bulky smart-looking comfortable option.

For the touring enthusiasts, the engine is suitably powerful. It is a single cylinder 155cc producing 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm with the motor paired to a 5-speed transmission. Swing arm type unit takes care of the suspension on the rear while at the front telescopic unit is used. For additional safety, the Intruder has disc brakes at both the front and the rear. Suzuki has managed to keep a fine balance between the functional excellence and the driving pleasure, something every rider has on top of their checklist while going for a bike.

The bike is designed to evoke a unique sense of style, comfort, and power. It brings for young India a sporty looking comfortable cruiser with a competitive engine worthy of being called 'India's Modern Cruiser'.
