Facebook's Saurabh Doshi has been recently promoted to a new role. He will now head entertainment partnerships, Asia-Pacific at Facebook. Previously, he was heading Facebook's videos and media partnership in India and South Asia. He is based in Singapore.

In his new role, Doshi will be responsible for markets covering South East Asia, Japan, Korea, India, and China, among others. He is now responsible for connecting users to content and creators that best inform and entertain them. Doshi will manage the strategic relationship with media organizations and public celebrities by working closely with studios, TV networks, celebrities and creators in the entertainment space with an aim to leverage Facebook's platform to increase content engagement and distribution.
Prior to joining Facebook in 2014, Doshi was working with Viacom18 Media as vice-president and business head of the digital and news media vertical. He was also associated with Fox Networks Group as associate vice-president, strategy and business development.
A certified chartered accountant, Doshi has completed his master's degree in business administration from SP Jain School of Global Management and his first job was with Bank of America. He later went on to work with Reliance Broadcast Network.
