This follows close on the heels of the resignation of Twitter India MD Rishi Jaitly.

Two days after Rishi Jaitly announced his resignation as Twitter's India head,, Parminder Singh, Twitter's managing director for Southeast Asia, India and MENA (Middle East and North Africa), has also announced in a tweet that he is stepping down. Both these announcements have come in the midst of the company's restructuring and global layoffs to attain profitability in the next financial year.
Singh followed that up with more tweets on the restructuring at the company. "The INSEA/MENA region is now split, with MENA aligned to EMEA and INSEA aligned to APAC region. Right time for me to step back," Singh said in one of the tweets.
Singh has been with Twitter since November 2013, and prior to that he was Managing Director - Display Solution Sales, APAC at Google. He has also had stints with other tech companies like Apple and IBM.
