Nike, in its new international digital film 'Unlimited Future', features several babies who are named after famous athletes such as Serena Williams, Neymar Jr, LeBron James, Mo Farah, and Zhou Qi. The ad has been conceptualised by Wieden + Kennedy, Portland.
The ad film starts with Hollywood actor Bobby Cannavale giving a pep talk to the babies who are to be future sports stars. "Life's not fair," he says. "You have no say in the world you are born into. You don't decide your name. You don't decide where you come from. You don't decide if you have a place to call home, or if your whole family has to leave the country. Yeah, it's messed up. You don't decide how the world judges a person like you. You don't decide how your story begins. But, you do get to decide how it ends. Yes!" The film ends with the Nike tagline 'Just Do It'.
Uploaded on Nike's official YouTube channel on July 24, the digital film has gone viral in the last four days, and has garnered 20.3 million views.
