Previously, she was vice-president, client strategy, at the agency.
The creative and digital marketing agency The Glitch, has announced the elevation of Pooja Jauhari as its chief executive officer with immediate effect. In her new role, she will oversee the agency's business on a national level and contribute to local, as well as international expansion in new markets. Prior to her promotion, Jauhari has worked as vice-president, client strategy, at the agency.
Jauhari brings with her over 12 years of work experience, having worked with companies such as Unilever, JWT, Contract Advertising, and World Wide Media in the past.
Varun Duggirala, co-founder and left brain, The Glitch, informs, "At its core, The Glitch has always stood for disruption in the advertising landscape, and as we expand further, the need is to have someone at the helm of affairs who unleashes this disruption with a strong strategic and business focus. So, it was a no brainer to have (Pooja) Jauhari take over this role to lead the charge for The Glitch as our CEO."
Commenting on the announcement, Rohit Raj, co-founder and right brain, The Glitch, says, "Jauhari has been a key part of our evolution and growth as an agency, and has taken decisions and moved the company forward the way we would have, and sometimes better than we would. We feel fortunate to have someone as talented as her to run the company. This allows us time as founders to concentrate more on our core areas of expertise and help scale the company further."
Expressing her views on her new role, Jauhari says, "We are in the business of impact-driven advertising as we help clients sell their products and not just talk about them. The fact that today, I get to grow, evolve with, and lead the most diverse set of creative and strategic talent helps make this stint exciting and challenging. I look forward to continue to work with the founders and take forward our collective vision."
