Prashan Agarwal, a serial entrepreneur in the consumer internet space, has been roped in as the chief operating officer (COO) at the Times Internet-owned online music streaming app Gaana.com. Prior to joining Times Internet, he co-founded multiple internet ventures including 19miles.com, a website catering to used car trade, with which he was most-recently associated, and PropTiger.com, an online real-estate transaction marketplace which he quit in May last year.
Agarwal brings with him 14 years of industry experience across all aspects of consumer internet businesses and tangible business models. In the past, he has held senior leadership roles at Naukri.com, GE Infrastructure, and Sapient Corporation.
