In a significant development, Mukesh Bansal, head of commerce, Flipkart, is moving out of his active role to be an advisor to the company, henceforth.
Meanwhile, Ankit Nagori, chief business officer, Flipkart, will also move out from the company. He will start his own venture in the sports domain.

The spokesperson further adds, "Ankit Nagori, chief business officer, Flipkart, is also moving on from Flipkart to start an entrepreneurial venture in the sports domain. He has played an instrumental role in introducing newer initiatives at Flipkart, and building the marketplace model for the company. Sachin and Binny will support Nagori in his new initiative, and will be his first investors.
