Pawan Agarwal has quit the Times Internet-owned Gaana.com as business head to join YouTube. He joined as head of music partnerships, YouTube, India and South Asia.
Agarwal, who joined Gaana.com in 2013, was responsible for business growth and P&L management. Currently, the post at Gaana.com remains vacant.
With 14 years of experience, Agarwal's core strengths lie in audience development, digital content strategy and partnerships, mobile growth and product management. He has set up and scaled business operations, managed P&L, defined strategic road maps, built scalable products from conceptualisation to roll-out, fund raising/investing, validating business plans, and nurturing start-ups in their overall growth.
Before Gaana.com, Agarwal was the co-founder and chief operating officer (COO) at Sunstone Business School. An IIT Kanpur alumnus, he has also worked with companies such as Lime Labs India, GlobalLogic, Xthetic Systems, and Amsoft Systems.
