Denim brand Spykar has launched its e-commerce website Spykar.com, in what seems to be an attempt to leverage the e-com boom in the country. The website will allow users to buy the company's products online and have them delivered to their houses.

The brand hopes to reach more consumers through this new platform, not only in Tier I but also Tier II and III towns. It expects at least 4-6 per cent of its total sales to come from the e-commerce space. The brand plans to launch exclusive offers for the website, on special occasions, where collections can only be purchased online

Sanjay Vakharia, COO, Spykar Lifestyles says, "Spykar has a presence in the marketplace for quite some time now. However, we wanted to create a dedicated platform for its young patrons who form a major part of the digital universe. It is an aspirational category for our young consumers, and we are glad that with the launch of e-commerce, we will be able to reach many potential customers. Our target audience lies between 18 to 30 years of age. It, therefore, makes sense to be available online."

The brand has also introduced an introductory 'Spykar Pe Buykar' offer on the portal. The brand offers one denim edition Royal Enfield bike and wrist watches to shoppers.

Currently, the platform consists of the Autumn-Winter 15 collection that includes a variety of shirts, t-shirts, denims, trousers, jogger pants, jackets, and accessories like wallets, bags & belts, socks. The portal will continue to showcase an array of apparel styles along with accessories each season.

Spykar Lifestyles aims to achieve an expected growth of 30 per cent by 2016 with target revenue of Rs 250 crore. The brand also has plans to open 40-50 stores every year.
