Nike, in its latest video titled 'Shout', celebrates its association with the University of Oregon by featuring its famous alumni including actor Ty Burrell, ESPN anchor Neil Everett, football legend and television personality - Ahmad Rashad and Dan Fouts, former football players Joey Harrington, Kenny Wheaton and Anthony Newman (current Ducks football commentator), Decathlon world-record holder Ashton Eaton, Oregon track star Galen Rupp, professional football athletes Marcus Mariota, Dennis Dixon, JJ Birden, LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner and Brandon Bair, former Oregon track stars English Gardner and Mandy White. The video pays tribute to the movie 'Animal House' by recreating a few scenes from the movie, beginning with the school's mascot getting his guitar smashed.

The relationship between Nike and the University of Oregon spans four decades. Originally shot last January - to be aired if the Ducks won the National Championship - the spot made its debut instead in last weekend's match between the Ducks and the Michigan State Spartans.

The video is a celebration of Nike's roots, as its founders had ties with the University of Oregon The video features Nike's co-founder Phil Knight, who was a runner at the University of Oregon. Renowned Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, who also appears in the film, was a pole vaulter for the school. The company's other co-founder, Bill Bowerman, who was the track and field coach at the University of Oregon for 24 years, led the university to four NCAA track titles and coached 16 sub-four-minute milers. The quintessential college film also features the Ducks' home field Autzen Stadium and Hayward Field, the school's historic track and field stadium, where original Nike athlete Steve Prefontaine raced.

The video gets its title name from the Otis Day and the Knights song of the same name which was performed in the movie. To celebrate the break between the third and fourth quarters of every Oregon home game, Ducks fans play (and dance to) 'Shout' and hence the song name.

Oregon's mascot, The Duck, who makes a cameo in the film, is featured fighting rival mascots on the lounge carpet of the university's celebrated Football Performance Center. The five-and-a-half-minute-long film, created by Nike and Portland-based agency Wieden + Kennedy, has already garnered 1, 214, 458 views on YouTube. It was published on the video sharing platform on September 12.
