Manhattan Communications has appointed three senior executives to strengthen its digital business. Arunesh Parab joins as head - Technology, Ranjith PM, head - Digital and Social strategy and Ahmer Ansari, senior manager - Projects.
Speaking about the new appointments, Shantonu Aditya, co-promoter and director, Manhattan Communications says, "After the acquisition of Wizard Media in June 2014, we are now aiming to be amongst the top independent digital agencies by 2015 and have hired a number of senior executives with proven track record from the industry. The focus shall now be technology and creative services. We are now offering 360-degree digital services including media, search, social, web and app development and creative services."
Parab joins the company from SMG Convonix, where he was vice president, Technology for SMG Convonix. He also created web analytics platform "HitzStat". Parab is adept in developing technology solutions and products to drive business growth and turn that into independent business units.
Ranjith worked as an account planner and client relation manager for Flying Cursor Interactive with a clientele that included Standard Chartered India, National Geographic, Fox Traveler, Axis MF, Bisleri Vedica, Godrej and others.
Ansari has a background in web technology spanning both marketing and web development functions He has developed websites for clients like Tata Docomo, Croma (E-commerce website), Morphy Richards India, Virgin Mobile, Bajaj Electricals (Corporate and E-commerce websites), Pepsimtvindies.com website for MTV, promoting indies music and Kotak jifi twitter banking website.
