Big data company, Crayon Data has appointed Lakshmi Narasimhan to lead and enhance the company's mobile and data transformation offerings. With close to 20 years of media marketing experience, Narasimhan was previously the CEO of Network18 digital (Web18). Before that, he was leading GroupM's Central Trading Group during the company's early days in India.
Srikant Sastri, co-founder, Crayon Data says, "Lakshmi brings with him extensive and in-depth knowledge of data analytics and media spectrum which will add a new dimension to Crayon's overall offering. Narasimhan will also be front ending Crayon Data's recently announced partnership with Mindshare, to develop the latter's adaptive marketing offerings in Asia-Pacific region. Forged in August this year, the Mindshare-Crayon partnership is aimed at greater adaptive solutions for marketers, providing an ability to not only identify different consumer profiles and segments, but to also target and track those profiles across a complex range of media channels, including social media and video.
