Video jockey Rannvijay is getting married and menswear brand Jack & Jones has decided to launch webisodes on how Rannvijay gears up for his wedding. Spotlight, the recently launched specialised division of Integrated Network Solutions (INS), a division of Viacom18, has partnered Colosceum Media and One Digital Entertainment to launch a 16-part web series called 'Jack & Jones Hitched'. As a first-of-its-kind show, it will give audiences an opportunity to be a part of the celebrations as MTV VJ Rannvijay gears up for his big fat Punjabi wedding.
Spotlight includes a bunch of celebrities from various fields, who help brands engage with consumers. With an array of more than 30 celebrities on board, brands will now have an opportunity to leverage the glamour quotient, to seed customised branded content.
Commenting on the launch, Jaideep Singh, senior vice-president and business head, INS, Viacom18, says, "Spotlight provides that platform for brands to harness the power of the glamour world through celebrity associations and takes their message further to the audience in a much more engaging manner. Our first property under Spotlight, Jack & Jones Hitched will set the tone for more such innovations in the future."
